Delete your Toulky account

You can delete your account and your data in the Toulky game at any time. You have 14 days to change your mind.

In the app

1. Open Toulky and tap Profile.
2. Tap Delete account and confirm.
3. You are signed out on every device at once, and your profile disappears for other players (friends, club, leaderboards).
4. After 14 days your data is deleted for good. If you sign in again within those 14 days, you can cancel the deletion and everything stays as it was.

Without the app

Write from the e-mail address of the Google account you sign in to Toulky with to toulkygame@gmail.com with the subject Delete my account. We find the account by the address, so you need not send anything else.

We handle the request usually within a few days, within a month at the latest, and confirm it by e-mail. From then on the same 14 days to change your mind apply as in the app. We do not delete an account on a request from any other address than the account's: we could not tell it is yours.

What is deleted

• your e-mail address and Google sign-in, your year of birth,
• your nickname and profile card,
• your progress: level, Shimmer, cards, stamps, kilometres, explored roads, diary,
• your play history: places visited, where and when you collected cards, puzzles, legends, card boxes, gardens, walks,
• your friends and blocks, club membership, settings, messages from the team,
• records of suspicious locations and your sign-ins on every device.

What stays

• What belongs to others too: cards other players already own (traded, given or put in a card box), plants in shared gardens and the town mosaic fields you discovered. They stay, without your name.
• Anonymous numbers: town totals (e.g. how many kilometres were walked in a town) and the anonymous footfall statistics keep their numbers, without any link to you.
• The team's records: reports you sent and records of the team's decisions and actions stay, without your e-mail or nickname.
• An empty account record with no personal data, so that what others own still points somewhere.

How long it takes

• Sign-out and hiding your profile: at once.
• Deleting your data: after the 14 days to change your mind.
• Database backups: within 1 year at the latest.

Before you delete your account, you can download a copy of your data: Profile → Download my data.

Want to delete only some data?

To leave the footfall statistics, turn off Settings → Privacy → Anonymous statistics. For any other request about your data (a copy, a correction, deleting part of it), write to us at toulkygame@gmail.com. More in the Privacy policy.
